I am based in Newbury, Berkshire, and offer Classical and Spanish guitar tuition in this area from my home which is close to the Newbury Business Park area  (near the B&Q on London Road, Newbury).

I mainly offer tuition based on Graded syllabuses e.g. Trinity Guildhall but this does not necessarily mean you have to take an exam.  Music is, above all, about enjoying your hobby so learning is done at your own pace.  If you wish to take an exam you will be fully prepared and supported all the way but you can always move on to the next levels when you are ready to.

The Trinity Guildhall syllabus is a great way to learn to read music and is ideal for school children.  For those children who are taking GCSE music at school they will benefit from learning about different styles of music and have a practical ability in preparation for their exams.

There is no age limit for learning an instrument such as the guitar and I offer special daytime rates which would suit retired people looking to start a new hobby.
